General Info

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on bowsports.com.
The placement of an order confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To receive any of the prices shown on our online catalogue you MUST place your order online (via the internet) and pay by credit or debit card.
For information only, you can easily contact us via this web site and email, supplemented with traditional communication methods such as telephone and fax.

We accept credit card payments via our totally secure online facility. International orders will be converted automatically into your own currency by your credit card company:

(3) Back ordered items will incur addition shipping costs if shipped seperately to your original order

Security:
We've always worked hard to make sure that your online shopping experience with BowSports is safe and secure and never stop looking for ways of making it even better. That's why we use Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for our credit and debit card customer payments. You may already be using these services when you shop online. If so, just enter your usual password to complete your payment. If, however, these services are new to you, just follow the simple instructions when you are asked to register.

Shipping Costs:

Details of postage and or shipping charges are shown at the check out, our system calculates shipping costs based on the physical weight of your order, once packed if we are able to save money on postage, we will pass on these savings on to you.
All orders which total £50+ (before postage) only ship via Tracked Delivery, if you select first class post we will request payment for the balance to cover this service.
For international destinations our system still calculates costs, but due to restrictions placed by many carriers regarding size and weight of packages, charges can vary by location, in which case we will contact you prior to despatch to agree any changes in delivery cost.

Once your order is packed and ready to ship, and whenever possible, if we can save money for you on postal charges we will pass on these savings on to you.
All orders which total £50+ (before postage) only ship via Tracked Delivery, if you select first class post we will request payment for the balance to cover this service.

Generally most orders are shipped with Royal Mail, large or heavy packages will ship with a courier such as Parcel Force or FedEx.
We suggest if you know you are going to be out, either to arrange delivery to a business or work address. please note should you wish to arrange an alternative delivery address after we have shipped your order there may be a surcharge.
If you wish to use your own shipping agent, please send us an email with all the details and we will organise your delivery through them.

Delivery Schedule

As a guide orders are normally dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (Mon-Fri), custom made items such as arrows etc within 4 working days. Depending on order volume this can vary, so please let us know if something is very urgent.
We aim to process orders as they arrive, meaning first class or tracked services are treated exactly the same.
To find out when you will receive your order, you need to consider the order processing time and the dispatch method you've selected, such as First Class or Tracked Delivery.


UK Mainland Delivery Schedule :
Once you recieve an e-mail stating your order has shipped you should expect the following delivery times:

First Class Mail - 1-2 days

(allow up to 15 working days (mon-fri) under Royal Mails current delivery terms)

Tracked Delivery

24-48 hour delivery service for mainland UK, 3-4 working days for most other destinations

Please Note:

Regular Royal Mail services (including Recorded First Class) are not time guaranteed and whilst they can normally be expected to arrive within a couple of days, be aware Royal Mail can take up to 15 working days (mon-fri) to delivery 1st Class Items.
For this reason we strongly recommend selecting Tracked Delivery option. Whilst this is a little more expensive, couriers normally deliver within 1-2 working days.
(International orders received in under 14 days).

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to either back order the item or offer an alternative.
If an item needs to be ordered and you do not wish to proceed we will simply request an e-mail to confirm your cancellation. Once item(s) arrive in stock for you, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly to account for any cost changes that may have taken place during this period, at this point, any price changes would then be notified prior to dispatch, you can then choose to proceed or cancel.

Claims for Shortage/Damage

Claims can only be considered if shortage or damage is advised in writting within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns

BowSports want you to be happy with your purchases, should you wish to return an item, we ask that you contact us within 7 working days of receipt by calling 01902 791891 and ask for Gareth who will gladly assist.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. Please note that some products & services are exempt, and cannot be returned after processing of your order has begun. Examples include goods made to your specifications or modified from the manufacturers original specifications by your request. These include, but are not limited to, arrow shafts cut to your length, fletching of arrows, fitting of points and custom made bowstrings, items which have been used, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non re-sellable condition as new also DVD's may not be returned if unsealed, unless found faulty.

In the event you have an item(s) you wish to return or a faulty item still unfer manufactures warranty, please follow the steps set out below.

Before sending anything, please call - 01902 791891, speak with Steve.

Step - 3
Please follow any instruction given by Steve and make sure returned items are packaged properly and shipped with appropriate insurance & tracking.

Step - 4
Once agreed, items must be returned to BowSports within 7 working days.

Step - 5
BowSports will refund you within 30 days for the value of the original item, less any postage.

Refunds

We aim to process refunds within 14 working days, subject to meeting IN FULL all requirements as set out in our returns terms.

Guarantee

All products sold are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. We do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise. No items are sent out on a "trial" basis.

The warranty period between BowSports and the customer is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.

Pricing

Our aim is to constantly offer the lowest possible prices for all our customers.
Bowsports make every effort to insure the information contained on this website as accurate as possible, we do not accept responsibility for any loss or inconvenience sustained by you as a result of acting on the information provided.
In the event of a pricing error, BowSports will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.
We also reserve the right to make any adjustments to our pricing to take into account any increase in product costs or the imposition of any taxes or duties.

VAT

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is already included in all our prices. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

Privacy Policy

Bowsports do not disclose any customer information to third parties. Cookies are used on our shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
