Established 1984, we continue to supply archers around the world with only the finest archery products produced. BowSports very much value your custom and aim to be your one-stop archery supplier.
As a family of archers including twice world champion Nick Aston, we strive to offer selection, value and service. During 2005 we invested heavily in new showroom facilities, whilst showroom prices are a little higher than online, they reflect the level of service which includes one to one advice in a relaxed non-rushed enviroment together with the facility to try before you buy, which for many is still the preffered way of shopping.

Making A Purchase We have tried to make online shopping as easy as possible, Just browse our online catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Deleting items from your shopping cart :
If you have items in your shopping cart and need to delete any, simply click on the 'shopping cart' icon found at the top and bottom of the page. Once you have access to your cart you will see a list of all items ordered. To the far right of the page you will see a small box with the header 'remove', simply check the box opposite each item you wish to cancel, next you will need to click the 'update' button found on the left side of the page. This will then remove any/all items from your cart.
Credit card payments :
We accept credit card payments via our totally secure on-line facility. If you are an international customer, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
Cards Without Issue Numbers :
When paying with certain cards such as Maestro/Switch you will be asked for an issue number. If your card does'nt have one simply inset a 0, make sure you enter both your valid from and expiry dates when prompted.
After placing an order online you can also give card details via phone or fax.

Shipping And Handling
We are continually looking for a company to ship your orders for 'free' until that time, shipping costs are calculated on weight and value of your individual order.
For mainland UK deliveries, our online shopping system will automatically calculate shipping & handling.
Our system will also quote shipping costs for all other delivery destinations but due to restrictions placed by many carriers regarding size and weight of packages, charges can vary by location, in which case we will contact you prior to despatch to agree any changes in delivery cost.

Once your order is packed and ready to ship, and whenever possible, if we can save money for you on postal charges we will pass on these savings on to you.
All orders which total £50+ (before postage) will only ship with insurance and a tracking number, if you select first class post you will automatically be charged any extra cost to cover this service.
Details of postage and or shipping charges are shown at the check out.
Generally most orders are shipped with Royal Mail, large or heavy packages will ship with a carrier such as Parcel Force or ANC.
We suggest if you know you are going to be out, either to arrange delivery to a business or work address. please note should you wish to arrange an alternative delivery address after we have shipped your order there may be a surcharge.
If you wish to use your own shipping agent, please send us an email with all the details and we will organise your delivery through them.

Delivery Schedule
Orders are usually disptached within 1-2 working days (mon-fri). However, some items are custom made to your specifications such as arrows etc, which may take a little longer.
To find out when you will receive your order, you need to consider the order processing time and the dispatch method you've selected, such as First Class, Special Delivery or Parcel Carrier etc.

Whichever delivery service you choose, we aim to ship all orders either the same day (Mon-Fri) as they are recieved or at least by the next working day. Please note that Regular Royal Mail services (including Recorded First Class) are not time guaranteed and whilst they can normally be expected to arrive within a couple of days, please be aware that Royal Mail state they need up to 15 working days (mon-fri) to delivery 1st Class Items.
For this reason we strongly recommend selecting either Special Delivery or Parcel Carrier option. Whilst this is a little more expensive it provides insurance and online tracking.

Once you have recieved an e-mail from us confirming your order has been shipped, If for any reason your order has not arrived within the expected time, simply drop us an email and we give you the online Tracking Number (Special Delivery or Parcel Carrier services only).

UK Delivery Schedule :
Once you recieve an e-mail stating your order has shipped you should expect the following delivery times:
First Class Mail - 1-2 days (You will need to allow up to 15 working days (mon-fri) under Royal Mails current delivery terms)
Special Delivery - Next Working Day usually before 1 pm.
Parcel Carrier - 24-48 hour (mon-fri) delivery service for mainland UK, 3-4 working days for most other destinations

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If you would rather not wait for an item, simply e-mail us to cancel any back ordered items.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in all our prices. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
All products sold are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. We do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise. No items are sent out on a "trial" basis. The warranty period between BowSports and the customer is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.

Returns Policy
Whilst we hope you never have to return an item to us, if something does go wrong, we will do our best to make it right.

If you are not delighted with your order when it arrives, we will gladly exchange your item or refund your money (less postage and handling charges). Some items are restricted so please read below.

Products which arrive defective will be corrected by return this should be very rare as we individually check items prior to shipping, used items which become defected will be dealt with in the same way, our aim will be to get you back shooting as quickly as possible. Products which become deffective after use must be returned for evaluation prior to any agreement to replace or repair the item.
In order to process any claim as quickly as possible please always include a copy of the original invoice after contacting Christina.

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 days of delivery. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example:- building and fletching arrows, postage and packing, etc).
We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for goods that have been opened, used, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non re-sellable condition as new.
To cancel this contract, you must contact us for a "Return Authorization Code". Once you have this authorization please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with a copy of the authorization e-mail so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Remember to mark package and/or customs labels with "Returned Goods". If we are charged import duty on returned goods this will be deducted from any refund or credit.
- For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded or insured delivery service, BowSports is not liable for any loss or damage whilst in return transit.
- Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty on delivery.
- You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example:- building and fletching arrows, postage and packing, etc).
Refunds -
Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the receipt of the returned goods, subject to meeting IN FULL all requirements as set out in our returns terms.

Returning Faulty Goods -
All stocked products are carefully selected to ensure maximum quality and are checked for any defects through the manufacturing process before despatch.With this in mind, it is very rare for any item to need to be returned to us. If a product is found to be faulty due to a defect this is normally covered by the manufacturer's own warranty. If a product is faulty then once we have received the returned package we will inspect and by default we will replace with an identical or similar item with your agreement. All returned items are the responsibility of the customer until received by our company.
