Established since 1984, BowSports is a family based company which includes twice world champion Nick Aston, we very much value your custom and strive to offer you selection, value & service, aiming to be your one-stop archery supplier.
As well as our online store we have a large newly built showroom based in Wolverhampton, whilst showroom prices remain higher than online, they reflect the level of service which includes one to one advice in a relaxed non-rushed enviroment together with the facility to try before you buy, which for many is still the preffered way of shopping.

Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on bowsports.com.
The placement of an order confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To receive any of the prices shown on our online catalogue you MUST place your order online (via the internet) and pay by credit or debit card.
For information only, you can easily contact us via this web site and email, supplemented with traditional communication methods such as telephone and fax.

Bowsports have made every effort to make the information contained on this website as accurate as possible, we do not accept responsibility for any loss or inconvenience sustained by you as a result of acting on the information provided.
In the event of a pricing error, BowSports will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.
We also reserve the right to make any adjustments to our pricing to take into account any increase in product costs or the imposition of any taxes or duties.
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to either back order the item or offer an alternative.
If an item needs to be ordered and you do not wish to proceed we will simply request an e-mail to confirm your cancellation.

Once item(s) arrive in stock for you, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly to account for any cost changes that may have taken place during this period, at this point, any price changes would then be notified prior to dispatch, so you can choose to proceed or cancel.

Making a Purchase
We have tried to make online shopping as easy as possible, Just browse our online catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Deleting items from your shopping cart:
If you have items in your shopping cart and need to delete any, simply click on the 'shopping cart' icon found at the top and bottom of the page. Once you have access to your cart you will see a list of all items ordered. To the far right of the page you will see a small box with the header 'remove', simply check the box opposite each item you wish to cancel, next you will need to click the 'update' button found on the left side of the page. This will then remove any/all items from your cart.
Credit card payments:
We accept credit card payments via our totally secure on-line facility. If you are an international customer, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
After placing an order online you can also give card details via phone or fax.

Security:
We've always worked hard to make sure that your online shopping experience with BowSports is safe and secure and never stop looking for ways of making it even better. That's why we use Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for our credit and debit card customer payments. You may already be using these services when you shop online. If so, just enter your usual password to complete your payment. If, however, these services are new to you, just follow the simple instructions when you are asked to register.

Shipping And Handling
Details of postage and or shipping charges are shown at the check out, our system calculates shipping costs based on the physical weight of your order, once packed if we are able to save money on postage, we will pass on these savings on to you.
All orders which total £50+ (before postage) only ship with tracked delivery services, if you select first class post we will need to contact you to arrange payment balance to cover this service.
For international destinations our system still calculates costs, but due to restrictions placed by many carriers regarding size and weight of packages, charges can vary by location, in which case we will contact you prior to despatch to agree any changes in delivery cost.

Generally most orders are shipped with Royal Mail, large or heavy packages will ship with a courier such as Parcel Force or FedEx.
We suggest if you know you are going to be out, either to arrange delivery to a business or work address. please note should you wish to arrange an alternative delivery address after we have shipped your order there may be a surcharge.
If you wish to use your own shipping agent, please send us an email with all the details and we will organise your delivery through them.

Delivery Schedule
Orders are usually disptached within 2 working days (mon-fri). However, some items are custom made to your specifications such as arrows etc, which may take a little longer.
To find out when you will receive your order, you need to consider the order processing time and the dispatch method you've selected, such as First Class or Courier.

We aim to process all orders as they arrive, meaning first class or tracked services are treated exactly the same, it is just that tracked services give quicker delivery times once shipped.
Please note that Regular Royal Mail services (including Recorded First Class) are not time guaranteed and whilst they can normally be expected to arrive within a couple of days, be aware Royal Mail can take up to 15 working days (mon-fri) to delivery 1st Class Items.
For this reason we strongly recommend selecting the tracked delivery option. Whilst this is a little more expensive, they deliver within 1-2 working days once dispatched.

UK Mainland Delivery Schedule :
Once you recieve an e-mail stating your order has shipped you should expect the following delivery times:
First Class Mail - 1-2 days (allow up to 15 working days (mon-fri) under Royal Mails current delivery terms)
Tracked Delivery - 24-48 hour (mon-fri) delivery service for mainland UK, 3-4 working days for most other destinations

If for any reason your order has not arrived within the expected time, simply drop us an email and we give you the online Tracking Number.

Back/Special Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to either back order the item or offer an alternative.
If an item needs to be ordered and you do not wish to proceed we will simply request an e-mail to confirm your cancellation.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in all our prices. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
All products sold are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. We do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise. No items are sent out on a "trial" basis.
The warranty period between BowSports and the customer is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.

Bowsports do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy
BowSports want you to be happy with your purchases, should you wish to return an item, we ask that you contact us within 7 working days of receipt by calling 01902 791891 and ask for Xenia who will gladly assist.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. Please note that some products & services are exempt, and cannot be returned after processing of your order has begun. Examples include goods made to your specifications or modified from the manufacturers original specifications by your request. These include, but are not limited to, arrow shafts cut to your length, fletching of arrows and custom made bowstrings, items which have been used, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non re-sellable condition as new also DVD's may not be returned if unsealed, unless found faulty.

In the event you have an item(s) you wish to return or a faulty item still unfer manufactures warranty, please follow the steps set out below.

Please follow any instruction given by Steve and make sure returned items are packaged properly and shipped with appropriate insurance & tracking.

Step - 4
BowSports will refund you within 30 days for the value of the original item, less any postage.
